Tinnitus Program

About the Tinnitus Program

The first clinical program in America designed specifically to treat patients with tinnitus was founded at OHSU in 1976. Since then, OHSU has been a leader in caring for patients with this common and sometimes debilitating condition. Although tinnitus is often impossible to cure, its effects can commonly be reduced through specific therapies. The OHSU Tinnitus Program is under development and draws on the expertise of audiologists, psychologists, and surgeons to offer a rational structure for diagnosing and treating patients with this difficult condition. While we are not scheduling appointments at this time, you can call 503 494-8135 for more information about the Program and to be put on a contact list for when we are ready.
