PGY1 Pharmacy
We appreciate your interest in the OHSU Hospital and Clinics Pharmacy Residency Program. The first post-graduate year (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency is designed to provide a broad range of experiences to develop a competent and confident practitioner of pharmaceutical care in multiple patient environments. Residents receive extensive training in the ambulatory, acute and critical care, drug information and drug use policy development, and practice management settings. A variety of adult and pediatric experiences are offered to allow the resident to individualize their training. Five pharmacy candidates are accepted into each residency class that begins on July 1st and ends June 30th. Our residency program was established in 1988, accredited by ASHP the following year, and has been an integral part of the Department of Pharmacy Services ever since.
