Perinatal Mental Health

Dr. Davoudian and patient

Many women experience the "baby blues" during or after their pregnancy. Some experience a level of depression or anxiety beyond the blues and need special care. Pregnancy and having a new baby affects women profoundly – and in many different ways, and these effects can last for as long as a year or more after the birth of a baby. If you are one of these women, we are here to help you.

We provide mental health care for women who are pregnant, post partum, or who may be considering pregnancies in their future. Our clinicians are uniquely qualified to offer pregnancy-related mental health care. Our team is composed of a psychiatrist and trained counselors who understand the subtle and important ways that pregnancy and parenthood impact and are impacted by our mental health.

  • Mental health assessment, treatment and consultation
  • Medication management and psychotherapy during pregnancy and postpartum
  • Second opinions on prenatal medication management and pregnancy-related psychiatry
