Rural Health Clinic Emergency Preparedness

Lunch and Learn Sessions | Registration Open
The Oregon Office of Rural Health (ORH) is pleased to announce an Emergency Preparedness (EP) training program for Rural Health Clinics (RHCs). The trainings, delivered by staff from The Compliance Team, will provide overview and resources targeted to helping Oregon’s RHCs comply with Federal, State and local EP requirements, as outlined in Section 491.12 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR). Participants will work to:
- Fully understand the requirements for EP CFR §491.12
- Be able to identify resources to complete a customized EP Plan
- Be able to state the rationale for creating an After-Action Report
Participants can expect to:
- Use targeted tools to improve their EP plan
- Understand the common deficiencies found by surveyors regarding EP
- Create/update an EP resource binder
Learning will occur over the course of two approximately one-hour “lunch and learn” style webinar sessions. Participation is free and all RHC personnel are encouraged to join.
Training dates
Part 1: Monday, April 29, 2019 12-1PM PST
Part 2: Monday, May 13, 2019 12-1PM PST
