About OCTRI
Oregon Clinical & Translational Research Institute
OCTRI is a catalyst for scientific collaboration, translation of biomedical advances into the community, innovation, and research growth. With major funding from the National Institutes of Health through the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA), and significant institutional commitment from OHSU, our mission is to improve human health by enhancing clinical and translational research.
CTSA Consortium
OCTRI is part of a national consortium established in 2006 when the National Center for Research Resources awarded 12 academic health centers with the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSAs). Since then, the consortium has expanded to include 61 institutions linked together to energize the discipline of clinical and translational science.
Working together as a national consortium, CTSA institutions share a common vision to improve human health by transforming the research and training environment to enhance the efficiency and quality of clinical and translational research.
