Oregon Students Learn and Explore Research (OSLER) TL1
The OSLER TL1 program offers research experience and mentorship through stipend-funded year-long (12 months) training. These positions are available to students enrolled in a doctoral program at OHSU, Oregon State University, Portland State University and University of Oregon. Students will engage in clinical or translational research under the direction of a mentor proposed by the student. Year-long trainees enrolled in the MD or DMD program enroll in the Master of Clinical Research program. PhD students may choose to enroll but it is not required.

The Human Investigations Program (HIP): Academic Courses in Clinical Research
HIP is open to faculty, clinical and postdoctoral fellows, and students in any doctoral degree program. (View detailed eligibility requirements.) There are three basic ways to participate in HIP:
Master of Clinical Research
The Master of Clinical Research (MCR) track focuses on formal training for health care professionals who desire to make clinical or translational research either their predominant focus or a substantial part of their long-term career goals.
This two-year Certificate track combines a series of rigorous didactic courses, experiential learning, and mentored training in clinical research at OHSU.
A non-degree track is available to those who wish to enroll in core didactic courses of interest but not complete a certificate or MCR degree.
Biomedical Innovation Program fastPACE (Program Accelerating Commercialization Education)
Registration closed for Fall 2018. A 4-week biomedical innovation and commercialization course designed for the busy biomedical researcher. Through this course you will learn the basic components of biomedical commercialization and build a competitive business case for funding and partnership development.

The Invent Seminar Series is a 10 week educational program on bioscience innovation and entrepreneurship. The series kicks-off January 2015 with two keynote presentations and a series of weekly seminars that will provide information on translating and commercializing discoveries in the health and life sciences. Attendance is free, and medical students, grad students, post-doc fellows, faculty, and members of the bioscience community are all encouraged to attend.
