The Oregon Healthy Workforce Center (OHWC), a NIOSH Center of Excellence in Total Worker Health® was established in 2011. Recent News!
  • Thank you to all who attended our Spring 2019 Symposium on Friday, June 7th. Our symposia recordings and handouts will be available in July on our Training & Symposia page.

  • Our new Total Worker Health podcast episode is now available. We interviewed Dr. Casey Chosewood, MD, MPH, Director of the Office for Total Worker Health® at NIOSH on the importance of organizational support on worker safety, health and well-being. Listen to the episode or read the show transcript.

  • OHWC Director Kent Anger presented at a webinar event organized by the Work Wellness and Disability Prevention Institute: Organizational and Individual Intervention Methods that Improved Total Worker Health® in Construction Workers. Access the recording here. The talk was well received: Great presentation. Engagement throughout stayed at almost 100% kudos Kent! – .... look forward to sharing its application with my colleagues.

  • The Oregon Institute of Occupational Health Sciences (where OHWC is housed), Oregon OSHA, and SAIF Corporation signed an alliance to join efforts to expand the knowledge and efforts of Total Worker Health® .
  • The Oregon Healthy Workforce Center has been selected for continued funding by NIOSH. We look forward to an exciting next 5 years (2016-2021) of Total Worker Health® efforts!
